Chuckles Club

Sharing a funny story is good for the soul and a wonderful way of engaging the brain. 

The Chuckles Club is an open-door forum where residents share jokes and humourous anecdotes.

In setting up a Chuckles Club in a retirement residence, Nancy recommends residents rotate the role as Emcee to share the responsbility and different level of engagement.  Nancy would be there as the backup host.

While Nancy encourages seniors to tell their own ‘chestnuts’, she would supply funny material and coaching to any shy or wannabe comic.
